During her 25 year career Deborah has amassed a vast photograph and paper archive consisting of, one-of-a-kind prints; works in progress; unfinished pieces; alternative colour ways; fragments and test prints. These products of her creative thought process will become the paper palette for her new Bespoke Wallpaper Collage Service launching today at London Design Fair.
She sees this opportunity to re-visit this archive as a way to nurture a more personal approach to working with clients.
“ In the same way I discovered how to make my art useful by printing wallpaper at the Royal Collage of Art. Now 25 years of making & experimenting later I find myself with a huge wallpaper archive to make use of. With this in mind I have decided to offer a very unusual commission service working solely with these existing designs and wallpapers repurposing them as bespoke wall size collages.”
By reusing and reworking existing wallpaper prints and photos Deborah will create original made-to-measure wall art. Commissioning slots for 2024 will open at London Design Fair today.
